Lourdes University head men's volleyball coach
Greg Reitz has announced that
Austin Stout has signed a letter of intent to play for the Gray Wolves beginning in the 2014 season.
Stout, a 6-8 middle blocker, helped his club Team Pineapple to a runner-up finish at a regional tournament event in Urbana, Ohio. His team also has competed in several national qualifiers. A native of Huntertown, Ind., Stout attends Bishop Luers High School.
“I am very excited to add Austin Stout to our 2013 recruiting class,” Reitz stated. “He is a passionate person, driven to achieve great things, and I expect him to bring that attitude and personality to Lourdes. Austin hasn't been playing the game for long, but has made dramatic improvements already. He is also a tall player which will afford him a greater window for improvement. I am looking forward to Austin competing in the middle or on the right as a freshman.”
A multi-sport athlete, Stout also played basketball in high school.
