Danny Bichsel (Westerville, Ohio/North H.S.), Lourdes defeated Michigan-Dearborn 19-13 on Saturday afternoon at Detroit Country Day School in Beverly Hills, Mich.

"Our guys played hard again today," head coach
Patrick Yannarelli said. "We are coming together as a team and starting to control the tempo of the game. Our defense continues to grow as well."

Lourdes trailed 6-4 late in the opening quarter before scoring five of the next six goals to take a 9-7 lead at halftime. The Wolverines tied the contest at nine before four unanswered goals by the Gray Wolves put the guests on top for good.

Bichsel tallied nine goals and four assists while
Jared Yoshino (Toledo, Ohio/Southview H.S.) added five goals and four helpers.Â
Dylan Gill (Holland, Ohio/Saint Francis H.S.) chipped in three goals while
Dalton Vowles (Toledo, Ohio/Saint John's H.S.) and
Trent Hasenfratz (Maumee, Ohio/Anthony Wayne H.S.) each tallied a marker.

Joe Hollinger (Maumee, Ohio/Anthony Wayne H.S.) made 14 saves in the cage for the Gray Wolves to earn the win while Yoshino collected eight ground balls. Gill and
Matt Ofner (Perkasie, Pa./Pennridge H.S.) each added six ground balls.

Dylan Hatcher led Michigan-Dearborn (4-2, 0-1 CCLA Central) with five goals and an assist while Ruben Cabello added four goals.

"We're looking forward to a full week of practice before our next game," Yannarelli added.

Lourdes (3-3, 2-0) will face Siena Heights next Saturday for the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference third place game as well as a CCLA South contest. The opening draw is set for 3:30 p.m. at the DU Turf Field in Grand Rapids, Mich.
