Lourdes began a three-match road trip to close out the regular season on Tuesday evening, dropping a 3-0 decision to Cornerstone at the CU Soccer Stadium in Grand Rapids, Mich.

The first half was scoreless until the 8:54 mark when Cornerstone tried crossing a ball into the box from the left side, but the ball was deflected in by a Gray Wolf defender, putting the Golden Eagles in front.

The match remained 1-0 early in the second half when Bria West took a service from Alexys Riksen and scored into the left corner just 7:29 out of the break. The Golden Eagles added one final tally with just 30 seconds remaining as Maddie Tassoni received a cross from Meredith Haddad and finished for the match's final goal.

Cornerstone (8-6-1, 3-5 WHAC) outshot Lourdes 24-8 for the match, including a 9-4 advantage on goal.Â
Clare Ciarlino (Taylor, Mich./Truman H.S.) led the Gray Wolves with three shot attempts, including a pair on frame. The Gray Wolves did hold an 8-6 advantage in corner kick opportunities, including seven chances in the opening 45 minutes.

Kiley Transit (Royal Oak, Mich./Royal Oak H.S.) made six stops in goal for Lourdes in the setback while Allison Snowden made four saves to earn the shutout.Â

Lourdes (3-10-1, 1-7) will head to Southfield, Mich. on Saturday afternoon to battle Lawrence Tech. Kickoff is set for 12:30 p.m. at the LTU Athletic Field.
