Madonna scored less than four minutes into the match on Wednesday afternoon, and added on from there, defeating Lourdes 5-0 at the Madonna Athletic Complex in Livonia, Mich.

Alexis Bozinovski scored just 3:44 into the contest to put the Crusaders in front before Hannah Alston added a goal in the 16
th minute. Emma Camp gave the hosts a 3-0 lead with 7:28 left in the first half, scoring on a free kick.

The Crusaders held a 9-5 shot advantage at the break, but both sides had five shots on goal.

Madonna (7-3-1, 2-2 WHAC) added to its lead just over five minutes out of the intermission as Camp tallied her second goal of the match, scoring from 35 yards out. Nicolette Vultaggio added one final goal for the Crusaders with just 1:04 left in the match.

The Crusaders finished the match with a 21-9 shot advantage, including a 13-8 edge on goal. Julia Stewart made eight saves in goal for Madonna to earn the shutout while
Kiley Transit (Royal Oak, Mich./Royal Oak H.S.) made two first half stops and
Kerstyn Williams (Taylor, Mich./Woodhaven H.S.) added five second half saves for the Gray Wolves.

Lourdes (5-5-1, 1-3) will have a week off before returning home next Wednesday (Oct. 11) to host Siena Heights. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. at Wildcat Stadium.
