Seventh-ranked Lourdes scored the game's first nine goals on Friday afternoon, and defeated Robert Morris (Ill.) 14-2 to wrap up the non-conference portion of the 2018 schedule at Wildcat Stadium.

After the opening quarter nearly went by scoreless,
Cory Campbell (Dayton, Ohio/Bellbrook H.S.) found the back of the cage with 16 seconds remaining to put the Gray Wolves in front.

Mark O'Bryant (Shaker Heights, Ohio/Shaker Heights H.S.) added a man-up goal 26 seconds into the second quarter, the first of six goals in the quarter for the Gray Wolves. O'Bryant would score two more times before halftime while
Casey Hilfinger (Whitehouse, Ohio/Anthony Wayne H.S.) and
Tanner Jaramillo (Sylvania, Ohio/Northview H.S.) both got in on the action as well.

The Gray Wolves increased their lead to 9-0 in the first six minutes of the second half as
Greg Johanning (Tivertson, R.I./Tivertson H.S.) and
Collin Miller (Royal Oak, Mich./Shrine Catholic H.S.) both scored.

Robert Morris (2-6) finally got on the scoreboard with 6:43 to play in the third on a goal by Jeff Sadecki before Johanning added his second goal of the game. Jack Emery pulled the Eagles to within 10-2 late in the third, the final tally of the afternoon for the visitors.

Jake Noel (Knoxville, Tenn./William Blount H.S.) scored with 5:53 to play in the game after
Chad Causley (Clinton Township, Mich./L'Anse Creuse H.S.) handed out his second assist before Jaramillo added three more goals in a 2:39 span late in the game.

Lourdes finished with a 44-20 shot advantage for the game, including a 27-12 advantage, on goal.Â
Jared Huiskens (Bay City, Mich./Central H.S.) made nine saves in goal for the Gray Wolves while
Chris Douds (Canonsburg, Pa./Canon-McMillan H.S..) made his first stop of the year playing the final 2:36. Steven Brill made 13 saves in the cage for Robert Morris.

Lourdes also had a 44-27 edge in ground balls, with Noel leading the way with eight and Miller adding six more. The duo also combined to win 14-of-18 face-offs on the night.

Lourdes (6-2) returns to Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference action on Wednesday evening hosting second-ranked Madonna. The opening face-off is set for 6 p.m. at Wildcat Stadium.
