Final Results

Led by a sixth place finish by Phoenix Waters (Manchester, Mich./Manchester H.S.) Lourdes tied for 13^th as a team at the Adrian Open on Sunday inside the Merillat Sports & Fitness Center in Adrian, Mich.
 
Waters won a pair of matches at 143 pounds while Kylah Holka (Niagara Falls, N.Y./Niagara Falls H.S.) added a victory for the Gray Wolves at 130 pounds.
 
"We learned a lot from last week to this week," head coach Kate Ray said afterwards.  "We have a lot of work to do, but I'm pleased with our improvements."
 
Waters began the day earning a 10-3 decision over Jetlyn Michonski of Adrian to advance to the quarterfinals.  After falling in her second contest of the day, Waters scored a 12-2 technical fall against Danielle Lopez of Northern Michigan.  She dropped her match in the third consolation round before suffering an 8-2 setback in the fifth place match.
 
Holka dropped her first match of the day before needing just 51 seconds to record a fall against Samantha Houser of Gannon
 
Lourdes will return to action next Friday and Saturday as the Gray Wolves take part in the Missouri Valley Open.  Action begins on Friday at 3 p.m. EST inside of the Burns Athletic Complex in Marshall, Mo.
