Led by a fourth place finish by
Mari Romo (Houston, Texas/Foster H.S.), Lourdes finished in seventh place overall as a team at the Warrior Open hosted by Indiana Tech on Saturday inside of the Warrior Athletic Center in Fort Wayne, Ind.
The Gray Wolves tallied 26 points in the field of 12 schools while Campbellsville took home the team title with 234.5 points. Life was second with 221.5 points.

Kate Ray said afterwards. "It was good to see their hard work begin to pay off. I'm excited to see their continued growth throughout the season."
Romo began her day at 116 pounds with bye followed by a 14-4 tech fall victory over Michelle Sanchez of Trine in the quarterfinals. After dropping her semifinal contest, Romo rebounded with a 10-0 tech fall in the consolation draw against Hayden Varner of Brewton Parker. The Gray Wolf junior then suffered a defeat in the third place match.
Phoenix Waters (Manchester, Mich./Manchester H.S.) picked up three victories on the day at 143 pounds on her way to a seventh place effort. She dropped her opening match before battling back through the consolation bracket. Waters earned an injury default in her second match before downing Mia Buckner in an 8-2 decision. After dropping her next match, Waters defeated Elizabeth Bound of Life 5-0 in the seventh place contest.
Keyocean Perkins (Ann Arbor, Mich./Ypsilanti H.S.) was the only other Gray Wolf competing on the afternoon. She failed to produce a victory at 101 pounds.
Lourdes will be idle through the holiday before resuming action in January.
