Lourdes wrapped up the 2021 women's lacrosse regular season on Saturday morning, dropping a 25-2 decision to Madonna at the Madonna Athletic Complex in Livonia, Mich.

Lexi Hunt (Cape May, N.J./Lower Cape May H.S.) scored her team-leading third goal of the season to even the game with 23:19 to play in the opening half.
The Crusaders responded, scoring 11 times in just over eight minutes to break the game open on the way to building a 15-1 halftime advantage.
Emiliana Taylor (Granger, Ind./Saint Joseph H.S.) scored her first goal of the season just over four minutes into the second half for the Gray Wolves to end the run, but that would be the final goal Lourdes (0-7, 0-7 WHAC) would score on the day.
Madonna (2-5, 2-3) outshot Lourdes 51-6 on the afternoon and held a 23-6 edge in ground balls.
Jacque Pappadakes (Rocky River, Ohio/Rocky River H.S.) made 15 saves in goal over the first 47 minutes for the Gray Wolves while
Briah Wesby (Chicago, Ill./Morgan Park H.S.) made her first appearance in goal late in the contest, making two stops.
Hunt had two ground balls for the Gray Wolves while Taylor and
Teresa Lambert (Bucyrus, Ohio/Wynford H.S.) had two draw controls each.
