Lourdes collected three big points in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference standings on Wednesday evening with a 1-0 victory over Indiana Tech at Warrior Athletic Field in Fort Wayne, Ind.

The victory was the first away from home for the Gray Wolves this season, and the sixth shutout of the year for the team and
Emmy Rodger (Romeo, Mich./Romeo H.S.), who made three saves on her way to her 10
th career clean sheet.

The opening half was scoreless, with Lourdes holding a 4-2 edge in shot attempts.

Kayla Dillinger (Sidney, Ohio/Sidney H.S.) sent a cross through the penalty area to
Chloe Shaffer (Rossford, Ohio/Central Catholic H.S.) on the far side. Shaffer send the ball back into the box where
Brynn McGarvey (Meridian, Idaho/Rocky Mountain H.S.) finished for the match's lone goal.

For McGarvey, it was her second goal of the season and eighth of her career. Shaffer collected her team-leading three assist of the season and sixth during her time at Lourdes.

Lourdes and Indiana Tech (3-6-3, 1-3-2 WHAC) each had nine shots in the match, with the Warriors' Michaela Bitle making four saves.
