Lourdes wrapped up its 2023 season on Saturday evening defeating Michigan-Dearborn 1-0 at Wildcat Stadium as on Senior Night.

Prior to the match, the Gray Wolves recognized
Simona Iacobacci (Washington, Mich./Romeo H.S.),
Gianna Salatino (Eastlake, Ohio/Lake Catholic H.S.),
Karlie Heilman (Warren, Ohio/Harding H.S.), and
McKenzie Klingensmith (Stow, Ohio/Stow-Munroe Falls H.S.), all of whom were playing in their final game for Lourdes.

The Gray Wolves scored the lone goal of the match at the 26:52 mark of the first half.Â
Laura Rincon (Madrid, Spain/Nuestra Senora de la Merced) had the ball near the end line and sent a pass back to
Taylir Lynam (Sylvania, Ohio/Southview H.S.) who scored her team-leading fifth goal of the season, firing her shot to the far post.

Lourdes (6-9-2, 3-7-1 WHAC) ended the match with an 11-10 shot advantage and held a 3-2 edge in corner kick opportunities, all five of which came in the second half.

Emmy Rodger (Romeo, Mich./Romeo H.S.) made two saves for her fifth shutout of the season while Amelia Strochine made four stops for Michigan-Dearborn (7-8-2, 3-6-2).
