Lourdes wrapped up its 2023 season on Saturday evening defeating Michigan-Dearborn 1-0 at Wildcat Stadium as on Senior Night.
 
Prior to the match, the Gray Wolves recognized Simona Iacobacci (Washington, Mich./Romeo H.S.), Gianna Salatino (Eastlake, Ohio/Lake Catholic H.S.), Karlie Heilman (Warren, Ohio/Harding H.S.), and McKenzie Klingensmith (Stow, Ohio/Stow-Munroe Falls H.S.), all of whom were playing in their final game for Lourdes.
 
"I couldn't be prouder of this senior class," head coach Jackie Phillips said afterwards.  "They truly embody what it means to be a Gray Wolf and a member of this program."
 
The Gray Wolves scored the lone goal of the match at the 26:52 mark of the first half.  Laura Rincon (Madrid, Spain/Nuestra Senora de la Merced) had the ball near the end line and sent a pass back to Taylir Lynam (Sylvania, Ohio/Southview H.S.) who scored her team-leading fifth goal of the season, firing her shot to the far post.
 
Lourdes (6-9-2, 3-7-1 WHAC) ended the match with an 11-10 shot advantage and held a 3-2 edge in corner kick opportunities, all five of which came in the second half.
 
Emmy Rodger (Romeo, Mich./Romeo H.S.) made two saves for her fifth shutout of the season while Amelia Strochine made four stops for Michigan-Dearborn (7-8-2, 3-6-2).
