Lourdes concluded its 2023 season on Saturday evening, dropping a 17-6 decision to Lawrence Tech on Senior Night at Wildcat Stadium.
 
Brock Meomartino (Cumberland, R.I./Cumberland H.S.) scored three goals for the Gray Wolves while Ben Reidy (Saskatoon, Sask./Bishop James Mahoney H.S.), Jake Busta (Carlsbad, Calif./Carlsbad H.S.), and Tomasz Simeunovic (Whitby, Ont./The Hill Academy) also added goals.
 
The Gray Wolves kept the game close in the opening quarter, tying the game at two on Meomartino's second goal of the stanza.  Busta's goal in the second quarter pulled Lourdes within one, 4-3 before the Blue Devils took a 6-4 lead into halftime.
 
Meomartino scored the first goal of the third quarter before Lawrence Tech (6-5, 4-4 WHAC) scored the next four goals.  The Gray Wolves closed the third quarter with a pair of goals, but the Blue Devils tallied all seven of the fourth quarter markers.
 
Lawrence Tech outshot Lourdes 51-19 for the game, with Jack Bichsel (Westerville, Ohio/North H.S.) making 12 saves in the cage for Lourdes (6-7, 1-6).  Ryan Shaffer (Brunswick, Md./Brunswick H.S.) led Lourdes with seven ground balls and four caused turnovers in his final game as a Gray Wolf.  He and Noah Loth (Fort Worth, Texas/Aledo H.S.), who won eight faceoffs, were honored prior to the game as the program's lone seniors.
 
Grady Holmes and Damien Hudson each scored six times to lead Lawrence Tech.
