After waiting out a weather delay for nearly 100 minutes, Lourdes began its final road trip of the season on Wednesday evening falling to Marian 18-5 at St. Vincent Field in Indianapolis, Ind.

Sydney Duran (Temperance, Mich./Bedford H.S.) started the scoring for the Gray Wolves just 1:27 into the contest before the Knights scored the next eight goals.Â
Sarah Przyojski (Temperance, Mich./Bedford H.S.) ended the run with a free position goal before Marian score the next two goals to end the quarter in front 10-2.

After the Knights increased the lead to nine early in the second,
Amelia McCourt (Bloomfield Hills, Mich./Bloomfield Hills H.S.) found the back of the cage only to see Marian (10-3, 5-1 WHAC) answer with the final three goals of the half to take a 14-3 lead into intermission.

McCourt scored first in the third quarter before the hosts tallied their final four goals. Przyojski added one final goal for the Gray Wolves with 1:28 to play.

Jordin Rawski (Toledo, Ohio/Southview H.S.) had four draw controls for the Gray Wolves while Duran picked up five ground balls.Â

Lourdes (4-7, 1-5) takes to the road for the final time on Saturday morning, traveling to Fort Wayne, Ind. to face Indiana Tech. The opening draw is set for 10 a.m. at Warrior Athletic Field.
