ADRIAN, Mich. (LourdesAthletics.com) – The Lourdes University women's wrestling team showed strong effort in a competitive match against Siena Heights University on Thursday night in Adrian, Mich., falling 24-18. Despite the loss, several Gray Wolves had notable performances.
Leading the way for the Gray Wolves was Payton Curley, who earned a dominant 7-0 decision over Phoenix Waters at 160 pounds. Allie Phillips also had a standout performance, securing a pinfall victory over Aubrey Hunt in 4:43 at 207 pounds.
Stefana Jelacic contributed with a victory via forfeit at 110 pounds, and Anessa Morgan also earned a forfeit win at 180 pounds, helping add points to the team's total.
