Josh Lee was named the head coach of Lourdes University's eSports program in January of 2018.
In the program’s inaugural season, the Heroes of the Storm team advanced to the round of 64 in the “Heroes of the Dorm” competition. The Gray Wolves’ League of Legends team also advanced to the postseason tournament in year one.
Lee arrived at Lourdes as a highly competitive eSports player that deeply cares about the growth of the scene and promoting healthy competition through video games.
At a very young age he developed an intense passion to play video games at a high level and that has been his primary passion ever since. He regularly hosted and set up tournaments for Super Smash Bros. and Halo.
As he pursued his education, he continued to foster his passion online and in person by coaching friends, family, and strangers at various video games. He played Counter-Strike at a semi-pro level online and held private coaching sessions to discuss strategy, communication, and even character. He was recruited by various pro teams.
Lee has Associate of Arts degree and an Associates of Computer Programing degrees from Saint Charles Community College.
