Lori Mahoney

    Assistant Cross Country/Track Coach
Lori Mahoney was named an assistant coach for the Lourdes University cross country and track and field programs in April of 2019.
 
Mahoney arrived at Lourdes with a vast running background.  Since 2008, she has been a distance coach for Dave’s Running Shop in Northwest Ohio, coaching adults in various running programs throughout the year.
 
From 2003-2007, Mahoney was the girls cross country coach at Bedford High School, where her Mules qualified for three Michigan state championship meets, finishing as high as 10th as a team in 2003.
 
Mahoney also served as an assistant track and field coach at Bedford for 10 seasons, while also serving stints as an assistant cross country coach at both Saint Ursula Academy and Monroe High School.
 
An avid runner herself, she qualified for the 2004 Boston Marathon.  During her collegiate running career at Eastern Michigan University, Mahoney earned All Mid-American Conference honors and finished runner-up in the 10K in 1992.
 
Mahoney is a 1994 graduate of Eastern Michigan and earned her Master of Science in exercise science from the University of Toledo in 2005.
