Lourdes University Athletics

Josh Kruzel joined the Lourdes golf staff as a graduate assistant in the fall of 2019.

In his first season with the program, the Gray Wolves produced the program’s first men’s First Team All Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference selection.  In addition, two men and four women garnered WHAC All-Academic Team accolades.  Four players on each squad were named NAIA Scholar-Athletes.

Kruzel arrives at Lourdes with a vast golfing background after playing four seasons at Mount St. Joseph, where he was a team co-captain as a senior.  He was named to the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference All-Sportsmanship Team for the 2018-2019 season and was a two-time member of the Golf Coaches Association of America Academic All-American Team.

In the summer of 2019, Kruzel was a PGA Junior Coach at Stone Oak Country Club and worked as a bag room assistant at the club for five years.

Kruzel is a 2019 graduate of Mount St. Joseph where he earned his bachelor’s degree in educational studies.
