Cody Carson

  • Title
    Graduate Assistant

Cody Carson joined the Lourdes University men’s lacrosse staff as a graduate assistant in January of 2020.  His first season with the Gray Wolves was limited to just two games due to COVID-19.

In 2021, Carson was a member of the staff that qualified for the NAIA National Invitational.  The Gray Wolves produced a Second Team NAIA All-American that same season.

During the time Carson has been at Lourdes, the Gray Wolves have produced three First Team All Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference selections and a pair of Second Team All-WHAC honorees.

Carson arrived at Lourdes after spending the 2018-2019 season as the assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Wilmington College.  In the spring of 2018, he was the head coach at Copley High School.

Carson’s first head coaching job was at Kent State, where he led the men’s lacrosse club for the 2017-2018 campaign.  He assumed the head coaching role after playing four seasons for the Golden Flashes, three of which he served as the club’s vice president.  He helped Kent State win the Midwest Conference title as a senior as the squad finished the year 13-2.

Carson also played one season of semi-professional box lacrosse for the Columbus Crows Lacrosse Club, winning a regional title in 2018 to earn a trip to the national tournament.

A 2017 graduate of Kent State, Carson earned his bachelor’s degree in sport administration.
