Logan Lynch joined the Lourdes track and field staff as a volunteer assistant prior to the inaugural 2016-2017 season, and will help coach the pole vault and jumps.
Lynch was an All-Big Ten selection at Michigan-State University, where he cleared a personal best of 5.20m for the Spartans in the pole vault. He was a NCAA Mideast Regional qualifier during his collegiate career.
A native of Temperance, Mich., Lynce was the Michigan state champion in the pole vault three times indoors while twice winning the state title outdoors for Bedford High School. He cleared a state record 4.91m in 2007.
