Lourdes University Athletics

Hillary West joined the Lourdes softball staff as a volunteer assistant in the fall of 2016 after concluding her playing career at Lourdes.  She also serves as a graduate assistant within the athletic department.

During her first season assistant the Gray Wolves, she helped produce a Second Team All Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference selection as well as six WHAC All-Academic Team honorees.

While with the Gray Wolves earned Honorable Mention All Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference honors as a junior.  She graduated from Lourdes third all time-in games played and started, ninth in slugging percentage, eighth in runs, fourth in hits, fourth in doubles, sixth in home runs, and fourth in runs batted in.

Succeeding in the classroom as well, West was named to the WHAC All-Academic Team three times during her career and was also a three-time NAIA Scholar-Athlete.

West earned her bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies from Lourdes in 2016 and is currently enrolled in the Master’s of Organizational Leadership program at the school.
