Taylor Weis joined the Lourdes University lacrosse staff as a graduate assistant in the fall of 2016.

 

Since arriving at Lourdes, Weis has been a part of a program that has produced a First Team All Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference selection as well as seven Second Team All-WHAC honorees.

 

In the classroom, seven student-athletes earned WHAC All-Academic Team honors and four were named NAIA Scholar-Athletes.  Another has earned CoSIDA Academic All-District I First Team honors.  In addition, Lourdes women’s lacrosse has been a NAIA Scholar Team for both the 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 academic years.

 

Weis was a four-year starter at Ohio Wesleyan University, where she scored 34 goals as a senior for the Battling Bishops.  In 2016, Weis earned Honorable Mention All-North Coast Athletic Conference honors after garnering Second Team All-NCAC accolades as a junior.

 

A native of Sylvania, Ohio, Weis spent four seasons as an administrative assistant for the football program at Ohio Wesleyan before taking the same job at Ohio State University prior to her arrival at Lourdes.

 

Weis is a 2016 graduate of Ohio Wesleyan with a bachelor’s degree in sports management.  She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Business Administration degree at Lourdes.
