Ella Walsh joined the Lourdes University women’s soccer staff as a graduate assistant prior to the inaugural 2015 season.  She was promoted to a full-time assistant coach prior to the 2017 season.

 

Since her arrival at Lourdes, the Gray Wolves have produced an Honorable Mention All Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference selection as well as a member of the All-Ohio Team.
 
Walsh, a native of Swansea, Wales in the United Kingdom, represented Wales at both U15/16 and U19events.  She played club soccer for Swansea City Ladies FC, competing in the UEFA Women’s Champions League in both 2010 and 2011.  In addition, she won two Welsh Cup finals. 
 
She played collegiately at Loughborough University on their First Team for three years where she helped the squad win the BUCS Premier League in 2012-2013.
 
In addition, Walsh has been coaching with the Pacesetter Soccer Club.  Previously she helped various age groups win their divisions in NWOYSL and in 2017 helped a team finish atop the MRL standings.  She also led a MRL team to a state cup championship in 2017 after earning a spot in the semifinals in the spring of 2015.

 

In 2017, Walsh also served as a player-coach for Toledo Villa FC in the United Women’s Soccer League.
 
A graduate of Loughborough in 2014 with a degree in English and sports science, Walsh received her Master of Organizational Leadership degree from Lourdes in 2017.
