Sugey Ceja joined the Lourdes University women’s wrestling coaching staff in the fall of 2022 as an assistant coach.
Ceja was an outstanding wrestler at Tiffin University, where she was a three-time NCAA Division II All-American, finishing runner-up twice as well as in third place at the NCAA National Championships. She also finished third at the Women’s Collegiate Wrestling Association championships in 2019 and 2020.
Excelling in the classroom as well, Ceja was a three-time Scholar All-American. She was also a three-time team captain for the Dragons.
Ceja is a 2022 graduate of Tiffin, earning her bachelor’s degree in psychology.
