Nate Bruss was hired as an outreach athletic trainer through Nationwide Children's Hospital Toledo/ Mercy Health for Lourdes University in the summer of 2024. With a hand in all Gray Wolves varsity sports, Bruss will be the main contact point for sports such as Men's Soccer, Men's Basketball, Baseball, Men's and Women's Cross Country and Track, and E-sports.
A Toledo native, Bruss joins the gray Wolves after a four-year stint with the Fairfield Medical Center as an outreach athletic trainer at Amanda Clearcreek High School in Amanda, Ohio (2020-2024). While earning a Master's of Science in Athletic Training from Ohio University (2020), Bruss was also a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Crooksville High School, in Crooksville, Ohio (2018-2020).
Along with his Master's degree from Ohio University (2020), Bruss graduated from the University of Toledo (2018) with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training.
