Ryan Adamovich was named the inaugural head coach of the Lourdes University women’s flag football program in July 2025, tasked with building the Gray Wolves' 20th varsity sport from the ground up. He will use the 2025–26 academic year to recruit and prepare the program for its first season of competition in spring 2027.
Adamovich brings nearly two decades of coaching experience at the collegiate level, with a strong track record of player development and program building. He joins Lourdes from Bryant & Stratton College (Milwaukee), where he served as the Associate Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator for the women’s flag football team. In that role, he oversaw all aspects of the offense, spearheaded nationwide recruiting, and played a central role in shaping the structure and identity of a young and growing program.
Prior to his time at Bryant & Stratton, Adamovich spent more than a decade on the football staff at Wisconsin Lutheran College, where he coached a variety of positions including wide receivers, tight ends, running backs, inside linebackers, and quarterbacks. He also contributed to special teams coordination, opponent scouting, and weekly game planning, helping guide multiple players to All-Conference honors.
His coaching background also includes stops at St. Norbert College, Lawrence University, and the University of Dubuque. He earned his Master of Arts in Communication from the University of Dubuque in 2013 and is a 2009 graduate of Wisconsin Lutheran College, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Communication with a minor in coaching. Adamovich was also a four-year member of the Warriors’ football program.
A passionate and experienced leader, Adamovich is committed to building a program rooted in character, competition, and opportunity for female student-athletes. He and his wife recently welcomed their first child.
