Vince Laverick

Vince Laverick, Ed.D., joined Lourdes in 2017 and is an associate professor and chair in the Division of Education.   In his academic role, Dr. Laverick has researched and published on teacher reflection and improvement.  Current focus areas are addressing the current teacher shortage and inequities in the demographics of the teacher workforce.  He currently oversees the Like Me program at Lourdes and its focus on diversifying the teacher workforce.
 
At NAIA, Dr. Laverick serves on the Learning Disability Advisory Committee and the Council of Faculty Athletic Representatives.
 
He has a background in athletics and was a former student-athlete at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. 
 
A 2001 graduate of UW-Green Bay with a bachelor’s degree in English, Laverick earned his master’s degree in education from Findlay in 2006.  He also received his Ed.D. from Findlay in 2016.
