Casey Cherry (Comstock Park, Mich./Comstock Park H.S.) suffered the loss (3-7), allowing 10 runs, five of which were earned, and six hits in two plus innings of work.

Lourdes scored first in game two as Bre Megyesi (Whitehouse, Ohio/Anthony Wayne H.S.) drew a two-out walk and Hayley Roberts (Brownstown, Mich./Woodhaven H.S.) ripped a run-scoring double to left-center.

The Crusaders answered with two runs in the bottom of the first on a home run by Mayes.

In the third the Gray Wolves tied the contest at two.  Roberts singled to right for her second RBI of the game, scoring Ashley Yeager (Sylvania, Ohio/Northview H.S.) with two outs.

Madonna (25-12, 7-1 WHAC) took the lead in the fifth on a RBI double and a two-run single. The Crusaders added their final two runs in the sixth on an inside the park home run by Mayes, giving her four RBI for the contest.

Roberts and Chelsea Goebel (Archbold, Ohio/Archbold H.S.) each had two hits for the Gray Wolves in the nightcap, with Yeager adding the fifth.

Crampton earned her second win (13-7) of the day, this time with 2.1 innings of scoreless relief.  Kasey Graham (Oregon, Ohio/Clay H.S.) suffered the loss (2-10), allowing six earned runs and 12 hits in 5.1 innings in the circle.
