"I thought this was the hardest and best we've played as a team in a long time," head coach
Karen McConnell said afterwards. "We kept working for each other."

Molea Thompson (Mansfield, Ohio/Madison H.S.) gave Lourdes a 38-34 lead with 10:58 to play.
Â
Cornerstone answered with five straight of its own and the lead went back and forth briefly before the Golden Eagles took the lead for good with 8:08 to play on a jumper by Jill Hendrickson. Lourdes was unable to mount a late comeback as the Gray Wolves managed just one field goal over the final five minutes.
Â
Jesse Fidler (Archbold, Ohio/Archbold H.S.) led Lourdes with 11 points while
