Prior to the match, the Gray Wolves honored the first two seniors in program history, goalkeeper
Erika Brinkman (Kalida, Ohio/Kalida H.S.) and
Elizabeth Theaker (Maumee, Ohio/Maumee H.S.).
The Saints jumped on the scoreboard in the fifth minute as Taylor Mulder took advantage of a mishandled cross and scored an unassisted goal in the box.
Emily Loar extended the lead with just 1:30 remaining before halftime, heading a pass from Samantha Bartelotti that deflected off of a Gray Wolf defender. Loar added a second goal with 12:53 remaining in the match, with Bartelotti again providing the feed.
Siena Heights (15-3, 8-2 WHAC) outshot Lourdes 12-2 for the match, including a 7-1 advantage on goal. The Saints also had the only five corner kick opportunities in the match.
Brinkman made four saves for the Gray Wolves in goal while Meghan Bogg stopped the lone shot she saw for the Saints.
Lourdes (8-8-1, 5-5) will take part in the Wolverine-Hoosier Conference tournament next week, with the quarterfinals taking place on the road on Wednesday.
