A 19-5 run to end the first half and 22-6 run in the second half proved to be the difference on Wednesday evening as Indiana Tech defeated Lourdes 78-48 at the Schaefer Center in Fort Wayne, Ind.

The Warriors shot 51.8% from the floor and forced 16 Lourdes turnovers while limiting the Gray Wolves to just a 34.7% clip from the field.

Lourdes scored the game's first four points before a 16-7 run by Indiana Tech put the hosts in front for good. The Warriors led just 20-15 with 8:57 to play in the first half before closing with the 19-5 run to build a 37-20 advantage at the break.

The Gray Wolves trailed by 15, 50-35, at the 12:17 mark of the second half when the Warriors went on another spurt, this one 22-6, to push the lead to 31 with just under five minutes to play and Lourdes was never able to battle back.

E.J. Blackwell (Rochester, Pa./Rochester H.S.) led Lourdes with 16 points and six rebounds off of the bench while
Zach Steinmetz (Toledo, Ohio/Saint John's H.S.) added 10 points as the only other Gray Wolf to tally double figures.

Miles Robinson led four Indiana Tech (5-4, 3-1 WHAC) players in double figures with 16 points while Lavonte Davis, Tanner Watkins, and Jaelen Manson added 12 points each. Scott Schwieterman pulled down a game-high 13 rebounds for the Warriors.

Lourdes (4-4, 1-4) will return home on Saturday afternoon to host Lawrence Tech. Tip-off is set for 3 p.m. at Tam-o-Shanter.
