Photo GalleryLourdes sent its four seniors off in style on Friday night as the tenth-ranked Gray Wolves swept Saint Xavier 25-20, 25-16, 26-24 at Savage Arena on the campus of the University of Toledo to cap a perfect home season with a 9-0 mark.

"We put together another solid match tonight," head coach
Greg Reitz said following the win. "We played clean in sets one and two and had to really battle back in set three. Now we just need one more win to cap a perfect conference season."

With the victory, the Gray Wolves, which have already clinched the Great Lakes Conference regular season title, move to 13-0 in league play. They close out the conference slate on Tuesday at Siena Heights.

Lourdes took control early in set one racing out to an 8-2 lead. Saint Xavier clawed back to within three late, 22-19, but the Gray Wolves held the Cougars to -.038 hitting in the first set to secure the win.Â

The Gray Wolves hit a blistering .571 with 19 kills in the second set. A 4-0 run early and five straight points midway through the set pushed the lead to 16-8 and Lourdes took a 2-0 lead in the match.

Saint Xavier looked as it if was going to extend the match past the third set, taking an early 5-1 lead. The Cougars maintained the advantage throughout, and were poised to close the set up 23-19.Â
CJ Rilveria (Kula, Hawaii/Kekaulike H.S.) made sure Lourdes battled back though, serving four straight points to tie the set. With the stanza tied at 24,
Frank Craig (Jacksonville, Fla./Englewood H.S.) tallied back-to-back kills, giving him a match-high 21, to close out the victory.

Jo'Lon Clark (Compton, Calif./Long Beach Poly H.S.) added 14 kills in the win while hitting .429 and
Amaury Miranda (Naranjito, P.R./Luis Munoz Marin H.S.) handed out 41 assists. As a team Lourdes hit .302 for the contest.

Defensively,
Austin Stout (Huntertown, Ind./Bishop Luers H.S.) was involved in seven blocks while
Julian Rivera (Bayamon, P.R./Wesleyan Academy) helped with six as the Gray Wolves outblocked the Cougars 12-9 for the match.Â
Brad Miller (Convoy, Ohio/Crestview H.S.) tallied a match-high 10 digs to lead Lourdes to a 35-21 advantage in that category.

Dan O'Keefe led Saint Xavier (8-13, 5-5 GLC) with eight kills while Sam Kull added seven more as the Cougars hit just .084 for the match.

Lourdes (15-5, 13-0) will step out of conference action on Saturday night to battle the 15
th-ranked team in NCAA Division I, IPFW. First serve is set for 7 p.m. at the Gate Sports Center in Fort Wayne, Ind.
