Lourdes wrapped up the 2015 regular season on Saturday at the Spartan Invitational, falling in three sets to fourth-ranked, and event host, Missouri Baptist before dropping a four-set match to top-ranked Park.

Missouri Baptist (17-5) downed Lourdes 30-28, 25-14, 25-23 before Park (21-3) registered a 25-21, 22-25, 25-15, 25-17 win over the Gray Wolves.

"We competed well at times today," head coach
Greg Reitz stated after the matches. "When we did we had some success. We were not as consistent today as we were yesterday though, and that hurt us."

In the opener Lourdes hit .250 for the match, only to see the Spartans connect at a .393 clip.Â
Frank Craig (Jacksonville, Fla./Englewood H.S.) led the way for the Gray Wolves with 15 kills while hitting .333 for the match.Â
Amaury Miranda (Naranjito, P.R./Luis Munoz Marin H.S.) handed out 31 assists.Â

Defensively,
Brad Miller (Convoy, Ohio/Crestview H.S.) registered 13 digs while Miranda was involved in three blocks.

Mico Janicijevic paced Missouri Baptist with 12 kills while hitting .550 for the match.

In the afternoon against Park, the Gray Wolves hit just .190, hampered by a -.027 hitting percentage in the third set after posting a .516 mark with 19 kills in the second stanza.

Jo'Lon Clark (Compton, Calif./Long Beach Poly H.S.) tallied a team-leading 16 kills while Craig added 13 more.Â
Julian Rivera (Bayamon, P.R./Wesleyan Academy) registered 10 kills while Miranda handed out 46 assists in the match.

On the defensive end, Miller notched 21 digs while
Sean Labriola (Ronkonkoma, N.Y./Connetquot H.S.) was involved in four blocks.

Lourdes (18-8), ranked 10
th in the latest NAIA poll, will begin play in the Great Lakes Conference tournament on Friday at Presidents Hall in Cincinnati, Ohio. The tournament is being hosted by Cincinnati Christian and official tournament pairings will be announced later this week.
