Lourdes wrapped up its two-game trip to Elon, N.C. on Monday evening, suffering a 15-10 loss to 17^th-ranked Palm Beach Atlantic at Elon Field.
 
"Each loss is a learning tool and the guys played better together and gained some solid experiences today," head coach Patrick Yannarelli said after the game.  "We were able to put some more pieces of the puzzle together and we can't wait for the rest of the season."
 
The 19^th-ranked Gray Wolves trailed just 6-5 at halftime.  Lourdes was within one with 8:40 to play following a Shannen Wesley (Toledo, Ohio/Saint Francis H.S.) goal, but Palm Beach Atlantic tallied the final four goals to earn the win.
 
Dalton Vowles (Toledo, Ohio/Saint John's H.S.) and Dylan Gill (Holland, Ohio/Saint Francis H.S.) each scored three times for the Gray Wolves in the loss with Vowles also adding an assist for a four-point game.  Jared Yoshino (Sylvania, Ohio/Southview H.S.), Matt Ofner (Perkasie, Pa./Pennridge H.S.), and Casey Hilfinger (Whitehouse, Ohio/Anthony Wayne H.S.) tallied the other goals for Lourdes.
 
Robert Aycock scored four times for Palm Beach Atlantic (3-2) while Greg Swanson had two goals and six assists for an eight-point game.
 
Lourdes (1-2) will return to action on Saturday, March 21, when the Gray Wolves travel to Grove City, Pa. to face Grove City.  The opening faceoff is set for 1 p.m. at Thorn Field.
