Playing a NAIA top-25 opponent for the second time this week, Lourdes suffered a 7-0 setback to fourth-ranked Northwestern Ohio on Saturday afternoon at Wildcat Stadium in the Gray Wolves' final home match of the regular season.

Kiley Transit (Royal Oak, Mich./Royal Oak H.S.) kept the Gray Wolves close in the first half, making 11 saves in the opening 45 minutes.  Northwestern Ohio held a 22-1 shot advantage at the break.

Camilla Anderson put the Racers in front 15:31 into the match, taking a through ball from Bogca Horvath and scoring from inside of the 18-yard box.  Andersen then sent a ball through the middle to Evdokia Popadinova at the 27:13 mark which led to the second goal.

Northwestern Ohio (11-2-1, 5-1 WHAC) broke the match open in the second half, scoring four times in less than 13 minutes.  Andersen tallied her second goal of the contest while Horvath added a goal of her own.  Julie Cazanave made it 5-0 Racers after receiving a give-and-go from Popadinova before Kristin Tveit scored on her own rebound after her initial shot in the post.  Laura Blanchard closed out the scoring with 4:58 to play in the contest.

The Racers finished with a 41-4 shot advantage, with Claire Ciarlino (Taylor, Mich./Truman H.S.) accounting for three of the four Gray Wolves' shots on the afternoon, including the only one on frame.  Northwestern Ohio also held a 5-1 advantage in corner kick opportunities.

Transit ended the match with 16 saves for the Gray Wolves while Tayla Gould stopped the only shot she faced for the shutout for Northwestern Ohio.

Lourdes (3-9-1, 1-6) will begin a season-ending three-match road trip on Tuesday evening as the Gray Wolves travel to Grand Rapids, Mich. to battle Cornerstone.  Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. at the Cornerstone Soccer Stadium.
