Lourdes picked up its second victory in three days on Saturday afternoon as the Gray Wolves scored a 12-9 victory over Asbury in the rain at the Asbury Soccer Field in Wilmore, Ky.
 
"We won as a team today," head coach 
Paul Sieben said.  "Our offense had good ball control, 
Anna Zofchak sparked the offense, and 
Jessie Frost dominated draws."
 
Lourdes fell behind 4-1 in the first half before scoring the final four goals in the final 8:10 before halftime to take a 5-4 lead into the break.  The Gray Wolves added the first two goals of the second half and never trailed during the final 30 minutes.
 
Jessie Frost (Barberton, Ohio/Barberton H.S.) and 
Anna Zofchak (North Canton, Ohio/Hoover H.S.) each scored three times for the Gray Wolves while 
Haley Brown (Temperance, Mich./Bedford H.S.) and 
Alyssa Long (Auburn, N.Y./Auburn H.S.) each added a pair of goals.  
Klarque Scott (Chicago, Ill./Montini Catholic H.S.) and 
Anna Marie Weber (North Canton, Ohio/Jackson H.S.) added a tally as well.
 
Kiley Ketteman (Cincinnati, Ohio/Anderson H.S.) made six saves to earn the victory in goal for Lourdes.  Frost won nine draws while 
Hannah Cullis (Fort Worth, Texas/Central H.S.) had a team-leading three ground balls.
 
Alexandria George led Asbury (0-4) with five goals.
 
Lourdes (2-1) will host Robert Morris (Ill.) in its home opener on Friday evening.  The opening draw is set for 5 p.m. at Wildcat Stadium.
