Upcoming in Gray Wolves Softball: Having not played since March 26 due to inclement weather, Lourdes will attempt to play three WHAC doubleheaders this week. The Gray Wolves will face Michigan-Dearborn on the campus of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor on Wednesday before hosting Indiana Tech and Northwestern Ohio on Saturday and Sunday respectively.

Series Notes: Lourdes holds a 4-2 series edge against Michigan-Dearborn dating back to April 3, 2013. The two schools split a twinbill last season at Pacesetter Park, with the Wolverines winning the opener 11-1 before the Gray Wolves rebounded with a 9-8 win in game two. Lourdes is 6-0 all-time against Indiana Tech, including 2-0 at Pacesetter Park, dating back to April 23, 2013. Last year the Gray Wolves posted 12-5 and 7-5 victories over the Warriors in Fort Wayne, Ind. Northwestern Ohio holds a 4-2 edge over Lourdes dating back to April 5, 2014. The Gray Wolves are 2-0 against the Racers at Pacesetter Park though. Last year Northwestern Ohio scored 7-4 and 8-0 wins in Lima, Ohio.
Wrapping Up Last Week: Inclement weather prohibited the Gray Wolves from taking the field last week. Lourdes was slated to host Cornerstone and Madonna on Saturday and Sunday, but snow prevented the games from being played.
Scouting Michigan-Dearborn: The Wolverines have played just two games since March 30, winning a doubleheader on April 5 at Kalamazoo. Samantha Zarins leads Michigan-Dearborn batting .480 while Taylor Moceri, Jordan Ewald, and Alexis Powell have all driven home a team high 18 runs each. The Wolverines are batting .327 as a team while the pitching staff sports a 3.68 ERA, led by Candace Kitchen's 2.47 ERA.
