Lourdes held Siena Heights scoreless for the final 28 minutes of the game on Saturday evening, and the Gray Wolves recorded their second victory in as many days, defeating the Saints 12-7 at O'Laughlin Stadium in Adrian, Mich.

The Gray Wolves never led in the first half, but a goal by
Alyssa Long (Auburn, N.Y./Auburn H.S.) with just 11 seconds remaining before intermission tied the contest at six.

The Saints scored less than two minutes out of the break, but the Lourdes defense would respond the rest of the way, with
Kiley Ketteman (Cincinnati, Ohio/Anderson H.S.) making four of her 10 saves in the second half.

"This was a fantastic team effort today," head coach
Paul Sieben said. "We were really dominant in the second half. We had a well-balanced attack and played some incredible defense tonight."

Katie Cerveny (Erie, Mich./Mason Senior H.S.) tied the game with 25:39 remaining, and back-to-back goals by
Anna Zofchak (North Canton, Ohio/Hoover H.S.) put the Gray Wolves in front for good.Â
Klarque Scott (Chicago, Ill./Montini Catholic H.S.) scored the second of her two goals on the night with 9:15 to play to make it a 10-7 lead before
Haley Brown (Temperance, Mich./Bedford H.S.) followed with a goal 26 seconds later. Brown added a goal with 2:26 to play to close out the scoring.

Jessie Frost (Barberton, Ohio/Barberton H.S.) tallied a pair of first half goals while
Anna Marie Weber (North Canton, Ohio/Jackson H.S.) also scored in the opening 30 minutes for the Gray Wolves.

Aliisa Mason and Sam Pawlowski each scored three times to lead Siena Heights (7-9, 3-7 WHAC).

Lourdes outshot Siena Heights 33-27 on the night, and forced Saints' goalkeeper Tabitha Ferguson to make 11 saves.

Ketteman led Lourdes with seven groundballs while Frost added five more. The Gray Wolves won the groundball battle 28-20.

Lourdes (6-8, 3-6 WHAC) will close out the 2016 regular season on Sunday evening as the Gray Wolves host Lawrence Tech. The opening draw is set for 7 p.m. at Wildcat Stadium.
