Fourth-ranked Indiana Tech jumped out to a 10-1 lead at halftime on Wednesday evening on the way to a 17-4 victory over Lourdes at the Warrior Athletic Field in Fort Wayne, Ind.

The Warriors got goals from nine different players on the evening while outshooting the Gray Wolves 37-12.

Indiana Tech (10-1, 6-1 WHAC) built a 5-0 leading midway through the first half before
Alyssa Long (Auburn, N.Y./Auburn H.S.) found the back of the cage with her team-leading 26
th goal of the season. The Warriors answered with five more goals before intermission, building the nine-goal advantage.

Anna Marie Weber (North Canton, Ohio/Jackson H.S.) scored just 59 seconds into the second half as Lourdes had a man-up situation, but Indiana Tech responded with four more goals in the next seven minutes to put the game out of reach.Â
Tiara Reed (Maumee, Ohio/Anthony Wayne H.S.) and
Anna Zofchak (North Canton, Ohio/Hoover H.S.) added late goals for the Gray Wolves in the loss.

"Our team showed hustle, energy, and enthusiasm despite the loss," head coach
Paul Sieben said afterwards. "We will continue to evaluate our play and break the games down so we can learn what we have to improve upon. I thought we played excellent lacrosse at times today against a more experienced team."

Kiley Ketteman (Cincinnati, Ohio/Anderson H.S.) made eight saves in goal for the Gray Wolves while
Mary Tressel (Stow, Ohio/Stow-Munroe Falls H.S.) collected five ground balls and caused four turnovers.Â
Shelby Kellar (Holland, Ohio/Saint Ursula H.S.) grabbed four more ground balls while Weber had a team-high three draw controls.

Heidi Tremaine and Kristina Scott each had three goals and two assists to lead Indiana Tech to victory.

Lourdes (2-6, 1-4) will return home to Wildcat Stadium on Saturday afternoon as the Gray Wolves host third-ranked Davenport. The opening draw is set for 2 p.m.
