Jared Yoshino (Toledo, Ohio/Southview H.S.) scored eight times on Thursday afternoon, helping lead Lourdes to a 13-9 victory over Point at Riverbowl Stadium in West Point, Ga.

Patrick Yannarelli said afterwards. "Once again they never stopped hustling and I believe we defined some roles. We're looking forward to taking advantage of more opportunities when they present themselves."

Trailing 3-2 after the opening quarter, Lourdes scored five of the six goals in the second to take a 7-4 lead into halftime. The advantage grew to 10-5 after three on the way to the victory. The second-ranked Gray Wolves outshot Point 13-9 and also held a 34-23 advantage in ground balls.

Yoshino also collected eight ground balls for Lourdes while
Jared Huiskens (Bay City, Mich./Central H.S.) made six saves in the victory.

Chase Parker led Point (2-4) with three goals while Harry Dismukes made 18 saves between the posts.

Lourdes (3-0) will wrap up its spring trip on Saturday afternoon, traveling to Waleska, Ga. to battle third-ranked Reinhardt. The opening faceoff is set for 2 p.m. at Ken White Field.
