Lourdes tallied a school-record 21 goals and also set the school mark for margin of victory on Monday evening as the Gray Wolves defeated Madonna 21-4 at the Madonna Soccer & Lacrosse Field in Livonia, Mich.

"We demonstrated our fire power today," head coach Paul
Sieben said afterwards. "We cleared exceptionally well and dominated the draw controls."

After allowing a goal just 16 seconds into the contest, Lourdes tallied the next eight goals to take control of the game. Leading by six with nine minutes to play in the first half, the Gray Wolves tallied the final six goals of the stanza to build a 15-3 advantage at the break.

Lourdes added six more tallies in the second half while surrendering just one goal over the final 30 minutes.

Alyssa Long (Auburn, N.Y./Auburn H.S.),
Tiara Reed (Maumee, Ohio/Anthony Wayne H.S.) and
Ashley Hunt (Cape May, N.J./Lower Cape May H.S.) all scored five times each for the Gray Wolves while
Shelby Kellar (Holland, Ohio/Saint Ursula H.S.) and
Anna Marie Weber (North Canton, Ohio/Jackson H.S.) had two goals each.Â
Mary Tressel (Stow, Ohio/Stow-Munroe Falls H.S.) and
Hannah Cullis (Fort Worth, Texas/Central H.S.) each found the back of the cage as well.

Lourdes outshot Madonna 40-12 for the game, including a 32-11 edge on goal. The Gray Wolves also won 16 of the 25 draw controls.

Kiley Ketteman (Cincinnati, Ohio/Anderson H.S.) made seven saves in goal for Lourdes while Cullis had a team-high four draw controls.

Katie Larabell and Emily Johnson each scored twice for Madonna (0-11, 0-9 WHAC) while Stephanie Mackley made 11 saves.

Lourdes (4-7, 3-5) looks for its third straight victory on Wednesday afternoon, hosting Indiana Tech. The opening draw is set for 4 p.m. at Wildcat Stadium.
