Lourdes scored the first 11 goals of the game on Saturday evening as the Gray Wolves rolled to a 14-4 victory over Concordia (Mich.) at Wildcat Stadium.
Â
"Our team played well on offense and defense tonight," head coach
Paul Sieben said afterwards. "We were in control from start to finish, and were able to give our players the opportunity to play different positions. It was nice for all of our attack players to score goals."
Â
After neither team could find the back of the cage for the first 10 minutes,
Alyssa Long (Auburn, N.Y./Auburn H.S.) broke through with a goal from the free position at the 19:16 mark. Long would be the first of eight different Gray Wolves to score goals on the night.
Â

Â
Long and
Mary Tressel (Stow, Ohio/Stow-Munroe Falls H.S.) scored to open the second half, helping the Gray Wolves snap a two-game losing streak.
