Lourdes won its school-record fourth straight match, and in the process extended its unbeaten streak to six on Saturday evening with a 4-1 victory over Rochester (Mich.) inside of Ultimate Soccer Arena in Pontiac, Mich. in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference opener for both schools.

"We saw some fantastic quality in our finishing ability tonight," head coach
Jackie Donovan said after the match. "Across the board the girls played hard and earned a well-deserved results."

The Gray Wolves wasted little time jumping in front, as
Remy Houttekier (Bloomfield Hills, Mich./Andover H.S.) scored on a blast from the top of the 18 after receiving a feed from
Clare Ciarlino (Taylor, Mich./Truman H.S.).

The lead grew to 2-0 as
Karlie O'Keefe (Sylvania ,Ohio/Northview H.S.) scored the first of her two goals on the night. After receiving a pass from
Tori Koontz (Chesterfield, Mich./L'anse Crevse North H.S.), O'Keefe scored into the upper corner.

Cassidy Kowalski cut the Lourdes lead in half at the 26:28 mark of the first, putting Rochester (3-5, 0-1 WHAC) on the board with a goal inside of the penalty area.

Lourdes added to its lead before halftime though, as Houttekier found
Abby Miller (Columbus, Ohio/Olentangy H.S.) with a ball outside the 18, and Miller scored for her first collegiate tally.

O'Keefe added her second of the match with under 19 minutes remaining in the match on a combination with
Maddy Fleming (New Baltimore, Mich./Anchor Bay H.S.).

Lourdes outshot Rochester 18-11 for the match, including 11-4 in the opening stanza.Â
Kerstyn Williams (Taylor, Mich./Woodhaven H.S.) had the only three saves for the Gray Wolves, coming on in relief in the second half. Cali Clemens made five stops for the Warriors.Â

Lourdes (5-2-1, 1-0) will remain on the road Tuesday evening as the Gray Wolves travel to Grand Rapids, Mich. to face Aquinas. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. at the Aquinas Athletic Field.
