Lourdes saw its school-record four-match win streak come to an end on Tuesday evening as the Gray Wolves suffered a 3-0 setback to Aquinas at the Aquinas Athletic Field in Grand Rapids, Mich.

The Saints took the lead just over 16 minutes into the match as Madi Grit scored her first goal of the match with Mariah Otolski and Emma Gray collecting the assists.

The Gray Wolves trailed just 1-0 at halftime, despite being outshot 13-4 in the opening 45 minutes, including 7-3 on goal.

Aquinas (4-4-1, 1-1 WHAC) doubled its lead just 1:20 out of the intermission as Otolski again set up a goal, this time to Anya Pallas. Otolski, who was involved in all three goals, found the back of the net herself with 25:43 remaining in the contest as Sydney Pickel garnered the assist.

The Saints finished with a 17-12 shot edge and a 6-2 advantage in corner kick opportunities for the match.Â
Abby Miller (Columbus, Ohio/Olentangy H.S.) led the Gray Wolves with five shot attempts, two of which were on goal.

Kerstyn Williams (Taylor, Mich./Woodhaven H.S.) made seven saves in goal for Lourdes while Kylie Robb made five stops in the start for the Saints.Â

Lourdes (5-3-1, 1-1) will return home on Saturday afternoon as the Gray Wolves host Indiana Tech on Homecoming. Kickoff is set for noon at Wildcat Stadium.
