Lawrence Tech scored in the first 10 minutes of the match on Saturday, and that was the only goal the Blue Devils needed to defeat Lourdes 1-0 at the LTU Athletic Field in Southfield, Mich.

Following a corner kick, Lauren Wasiak poked home a ball in the penalty area for the lone goal of the match at the 9:06 mark of the first half, with Alayne Nyboer drawing the assist.

Shots were even, 3-3, at halftime, before the Blue Devils finished the match with a 12-9 advantage, including a 6-5 edge on goal. Lawrence Tech also had two of the three corner kick chances in the match.

Lana Bell (Waterville, Ohio/Anthony Wayne H.S.) had a team-high three shots, all of which were on net, for the Gray Wolves in the final road match of the year.

Kiley Transit (Royal Oak, Mich./Royal Oak H.S.) made five saves in goal for Lourdes while Rebecca Almandoz stopped all five shots she faced for Lawrence Tech (7-7-2, 4-4-1 WHAC).

Lourdes (4-9-2, 1-7-1) returns home to Wildcat Stadium on Wednesday evening to begin the final homestand of the year, hosting Concordia (Mich.). Kickoff is set for 4 p.m.
