The Lourdes women's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision to Aquinas at the Aquinas Athletic Field on Saturday afternoon in the nightcap of a double-header with the men's soccer team.

Kiley Transit (Royal Oak, Mich./Royal Oak) was a key component in the first half for the Gray Wolves as she stopped four shots. Lourdes was outshot in the first stanza by a 10-0 margin.
The Saints (8-3-1 overall, 4-0-1 WHAC) scored the lone goal of the contest in the 71
st minute as Jenna Smith found Breanna Probst who deposited the goal into the net to give Aquinas the 1-0 lead.
The Aquinas defense held strong for the remaining 19 minutes of play to ensure the victory as the Saints went on to claim the contest 1-0.
Transit led the way for Lourdes defensively, tallying nine saves in 90 minutes.
Aquinas outshot Lourdes by a 21-0 margin and won the corner kick battle by a 7-0 margin.
The Gray Wolves (4-6-1 overall, 1-4-0 WHAC) will be back in action on Wednesday at 3 p.m. as they host UNOH in the first of back-to-back home contests.
