Lourdes continued its stellar play at home on Saturday afternoon, as the Gray Wolves improved to 29-2 all-time inside the Russell J. Ebeid Recreation Center with a 25-13, 25-14, 25-21 victory over Concordia (Mich.).

"I thought we played well throughout," head coach
Greg Reitz said afterwards. "We played some really sound defense, limiting them to .057 hitting."

Tylar Roberson (Elkhart, Ind./Central H.S.) led the way with 16 kills while hitting .289 and
Sarah Klausing (Kalida, Ohio/Kalida H.S.) handed out 37 assists to pace the offense.

"Sarah did a great job of running the offense today," Reitz added, as Lourdes hit .256 as a team for the match.

A 9-0 run and two five-point spurts in the opening set allowed Lourdes to jump in front early in the match, as the Gray Wolves held the Cardinals to just five first half kills and a -.121 hitting percentage.

A 7-1 run by Lourdes midway through set two gave the hosts a 22-11 advantage, as the Gray Wolves put down 18 kills and hit .318 in the stanza.

The final set was closer, with Concordia holding a 12-9 lead before an 8-2 run allowed the Gray Wolves to pull in front for good.

Monique Oliveira (Rio Branco, Brazil/Americo Rene Giannetti H.S.) and
Alli Plasencio (Toledo, Ohio/Central Catholic H.S.) led the defense with 15 digs each while
Niki Polce (New Boston, Mich./Huron H.S.) added 14 more.Â
Angelica Dippold (Louisville, Ky./Mercy Academy) chipped in 11 digs as the Gray Wolves held a 73-61 advantage for the match.

Delaney Bennett led Concordia (1-16, 0-12 WHAC) with 10 kills and hit .296 while Janie Bunge tallied 21 digs.

Lourdes (14-1, 11-1) will return to the road on Wednesday evening, traveling to Fort Wayne, Ind. to battle Indiana Tech. First serve is set for 7 p.m. inside of the Schaefer Center.
