Lourdes surrendered just 32 points all evening on Wednesday, as the Gray Wolves defeated Rochester (Mich.) 25-12, 25-12, 25-8 inside of Garth Pleasant Arena in Rochester Hills, Mich.

The Gray Wolves hit .325 as a team on the night while forcing the Warriors to a negative hitting percentage at -.039.

Greg Reitz said afterwards. "We were able to execute efficiently on our side of the net. Several players put up solid numbers for us tonight."

Leading 14-10 in the opening set, Lourdes scored 11 of the final 13 points to jump out to the early lead in the match. The Gray Wolves never trailed in the final two stanzas on the way to completing the sweep. A 9-2 run midway through the second broke the set open. In the third, Lourdes jumped in front 9-1 and also scored the final 11 points of the stanza.

Tylar Roberson (Elkhart, Ind./Central H.S.) led the way for the Gray Wolves with 15 kills, hitting .353.Â
Carol Goncalves (Brazilia, Brazil/Sagrado Corcacao de Maria H.S.) added a double-double, handing out 38 assists while recording a team-high 19 digs.

Emily Arnold (Sylvania, Ohio/Southview H.S.) registered seven blocks while
Alli Plasencio (Toledo, Ohio/Central Catholic H.S.) added 11 digs.Â

Laura Wilson led Rochester (2-17, 1-6 WHAC) with six kills while Jazlyn Teichow and Kaitlyn Williams had 11 digs each.

Lourdes (9-1, 6-1) returns home on Friday evening as the Gray Wolves entertain Cornerstone. First serve is set for 7 p.m. inside the Russell J. Ebeid Recreation Center.
