Savio Adams (Cape Town, South Africa/Zeekoevlei/San Jacinto) tallied a goal in the final second of a contest that saw the Lourdes University men's soccer team fall to Goshen 6-1 on Saturday evening in a rainy and overcast night at Wildcat Stadium.
The Gray Wolf defense was able to hold the visitors scoreless for the first 28 minutes of the first half, but a Goshen (3-3) goal in the 29
th minute was the first of three in the first half as Lourdes trailed 3-0 heading into the intermission.
The Maple Leafs were able to take advantage of a defensive miscue by Lourdes to open the second half and tally their fourth goal of the evening in the 52
nd minute.
From there Goshen would add two insurance goals to push the lead to 6-0. Adams as able to find room and the back of the net in the final second to help the Gray Wolves avoid a shutout.

Garrett Baxley (Trenton, Ohio/Edgewood) got the start in the goal for the Gray Wolves, playing the entirety of the first half and recording two saves.
Freshman
Ali Chokr (Bint Jbail, Lebanon/Fontainebleau (La.)) started the second half of the contest and recorded three saves during his time in goal.
The Maple Leafs outshot Lourdes 21-10 and won the corner kick battle by an 8-2 margin.
Lourdes (1-2) will be back on the road when it returns to action on Wednesday evening as it travels to Saint Francis (Ill.) for a 2 p.m. kickoff at Joliet Memorial Stadium.
