Lourdes saw its four-match winning streak come to an end on Saturday afternoon, as the Gray Wolves fell to Aquinas 4-0 at Wildcat Stadium.

Filippa Struxsjo registered a hat trick for the Saints while the Aquinas defense was stingy throughout, limiting Lourdes to just four shot attempts in the match.

Struxsjo started the scoring just 7:12 into the contest, scoring from 15 yards out on the left win. She added her second goal in the 23
rd minute, scoring after receiving a long pass up the left sideline from Jenna Konwerski.

Aquinas took the 2-0 lead into intermission after holding the Gray Wolves without a shot in the opening 45 minutes.

Struxsjo completed her hat trick with 32 minutes to play in the match, dribbling through defenders in the box and scoring from just outside the six-yard box. Abby Frankhouse completed the scoring with 3:57 to play, scoring on a rebound of a shot from Hannah Crum.

The Saints finished the match with a 28-4 shot advantage, including a 13-2 edge on net.Â
Kerstyn Williams (Taylor, Mich./Woodhaven H.S.) made nine saves in net for Lourdes while Braeleigh McCoy stopped both shot attempts for Aquinas (9-2-1, 4-1 WHAC).

Aquinas also held a 5-1 advantage in corner kick opportunities for the match.

Lourdes (8-4, 4-2) will have a week off before returning to the pitch next Saturday as the Gray Wolves head to Grand Rapids, Mich. to face Cornerstone. Kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m. at the Soccer Stadium.
