The Lourdes men's basketball team could not fight back from a 10-point halftime deficit as it fell 90-73 on Saturday afternoon on the road at Indiana Tech.
 
Lourdes took the first lead of the evening as McRay White (Cleveland, Ohio/Garfield Heights) hit a layup on the first possession of the contest just under 20 seconds into the game.
 
The Warriors (18-11, 14-5 WHAC) scored the next five points to take a 5-2 lead with 16:38 left in the first half. Indiana Tech held a slim lead until a three-pointer from Kadeim Jones (Dayton, Ohio/Marshall) with 12:03 left in the half helped Lourdes regain the lead at 14-13.
 
From there, Indiana Tech went on a 10-0 run to push their lead to 23-14 with 10:11 left in the half.
 
Following a Lourdes timeout, the Gray Wolves used a 7-2 run fueled by four points from Clif Snow (Middletown, Ohio/Middletown) to cut the lead to 25-21 with 7:54 left in the half.
 
The Warriors were able to make a late push in the half, taking a 43-33 lead at the intermission.
 
Indiana Tech wasted no time in the second regaining a comfortable lead, using an 8-0 run out of the gate to push its leads to 51-33 with 18:15 left in the contest.
 
A layup from Snow at the 17:47 mark of the second half stopped the run for Indiana Tech before Brett Lauf (Napoleon, Ohio/Napoleon) hit a jumper to cut the deficit to 51-37 with 17:01 left.
 
Lauf found Tyler Kegley (Mount Gilead, Ohio/Northmor) following a steal to get Lourdes within 13 points, but the Warriors scored eight straight from there to regain a comfortable 21-point lead.
 
Trailing 81-61 late, Lourdes made one final push, using a 7-0 run behind four points from White and a three-pointer from Desmond Frazier (Ocala, Fla./Dunnellon) to get within 81-68.
 
The Warriors were able to hold on from there as they went on the seal the 90-73.
 
White led the way offensively for Lourdes, netting 16 points. Jones and Lauf scored 15 and 11 points, respectively, while Snow added eight rebounds, four assists and three blocks.
 
The Gray Wolves finished 28-of-68 (41.2%) from the field, connecting on 11-of-29 (37.9%) three-pointers. Indiana Tech hit 33-of-65 (50.8%) shots, while making 14-of-28 (50.0%) three-point field goals.
 
Lourdes (18-11, 9-10 WHAC) returns to action on Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m. when it meets Madonna for its regular season finale on Senior Day.
