Beginning a four-match in four-day road trip on Sunday evening, second-ranked Lourdes pulled out a 25-21, 25-18, 20-25, 22-25, 15-11 victory over Saint Andrews inside Harris Court in Laurinburg, N.C.

The five-set contest was the first for the Gray Wolves since April 17, 2108, and the victory extends Lourdes winning streak to nine straight contests, the second longest streak in program history.
Â
"We never really played our best volleyball tonight, but we never stopped fighting and that is a huge step for our program," head coach
Greg Reitz said afterwards. "Saint Andrews defended their home court very well and were not going to give us this match. We are very happy to come away with the win to start the trip."
